Project introduction
Zilong Hotel, established on April 19, 1993 and formerly known as Beijing Carpet Factory No. 4, is a collectively owned enterprise under Beijing Gongmei Group. Its renovation was guided by a low-carbon and environmentally responsible design approach, with the goal of improving building performance while supporting more sustainable hotel operations. The project used 65-series fiberglass polyurethane vacuum glazing windows across the exterior façade as part of its energy-efficiency upgrade strategy.
Application Advantages
Approximately 1,100 m² of 65-series fiberglass polyurethane vacuum glazing window systems were applied in the project. By improving thermal insulation performance, the system helps reduce heating and air-conditioning energy demand, supports lower operating costs, and offers a practical reference for carbon-reduction retrofits in the urban hospitality sector.
